The Role
As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing introducer relationships, and implementing strategies to drive business growth. You will represent Waddle externally, building trust and credibility with partners while working internally to ensure clients receive the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by developing and maintaining strong relationships with external introducers and partners.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
- Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Present and promote the firm's services to prospective clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to growth strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and client satisfaction.
- Monitor and report on business development performance and market trends.
- Support the achievement of team and company-wide growth targets.
About You
Proven experience in business development, account management, or relationship management (insurance industry experience preferred but not essential).
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Results-driven with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
