Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Early Years Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will bring at least 3 years of proven experience in an early years setting, demonstrating strong practice, leadership potential, and a genuine love of working with children.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
  • Manage daily activities, ensuring that each child receives individual attention and support.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and promote collaboration.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback and support to enhance their learning experiences.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating effective teaching practices and encouraging teamwork among staff members.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Drive initiatives that promote social skills, emotional development, and physical well-being among children.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Level 3 (or above) in Early Years Education.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a practitioner in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • A deep understanding of early childhood development principles and practices.
  • Ability to create engaging learning activities that inspire curiosity and creativity in young learners.
  • A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £13.50 per hour
