Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and have experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of young children through play-based learning. The Early Years Educator will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education.

Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive team environment that promotes best practices in early years education.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies at all times.
  • Utilise strong communication skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education.

Experience

  • Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
  • A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Strong management and leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and parents.
