Why work for us?

Sanctuary Group is one of the UK's leading providers of housing, care and community services. We provide a diverse range of services across a group structure including general rented, sheltered, supported accommodation, student and key worker accommodation and care homes. With around 12,000 employees, we maintain a culture where diversity is valued, and talent is nurtured and rewarded.

At Sanctuary Care we put people at the heart of everything we do and that includes our staff. We invest heavily in your training, promote a strong teamwork ethic, and make sure that you have the support and resources you need to reach your potential. Our strength lies in the quality of our people, and we employ those who share our value of keeping kindness at the heart of our care.

The role of a Recruitment Administrator

Sitting within the Sanctuary Care Talent team we have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Administrator to join our dedicated in-house recruitment team which provides end-to-end recruitment expertise and support to our operation. Responding to recruitment requests from our care homes in an organised and effective manner you will be a team player with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a recruitment capacity.

Taking responsibility for your designated candidates, you will manage vacancy requests from the initial point of contact with the Hiring Manager; you will produce and publish adverts and oversee compliance and pre-employment checks for successful candidates engaging with candidates via phone email and text, while liaising with numerous internal stakeholders along the way. This role is extremely varied, and we are seeking candidates who can ensure this function evolves and improves enabling us to deliver a first-class recruitment experience. Initiative and passion are sought for this rewarding yet often demanding role.

Skills and experiences

You will be an experienced administrator and ideally your background will lie within recruitment or HR. With strong IT skills (databases and MS Office- Outlook, Excel) you will understand the need to keep accurate records to enable reporting in an efficient manner. Your ability to communicate professionally and keep hiring managers and candiates updated at all times is pivotal to success so experience managing conflicting priorities and tight deadlines is important. Recruitment requires a sense of urgency and the ability to multitask on a daily basis, does this sound like you?
