Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.

As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection and served promptly.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are adhered to at all times.
  • Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
  • Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate any shortages to the kitchen manager.
  • Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential, with a focus on food preparation and cooking.
  • Culinary experience is highly desirable, particularly in a restaurant setting.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is required.
  • Experience serving food in a fast-paced environment is an advantage.
