Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, whether in care homes or through home care services. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
  • Support the implementation and review of individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their independence and dignity
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Support clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as required
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff
  • Assist with light domestic tasks within the client's home or care facility as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate client transportation or service delivery
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Excellent communication skills with a caring attitude and empathy towards clients' needs
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
