The role of the Talent Manager at The Gap Partnership
As our Talent Manager, you'll be at the heart of our employee lifecycle. You'll design and deliver experiences that help colleagues feel welcomed, supported, and equipped to grow. From onboarding and development plans to performance cycles and learning opportunities, you'll bring these processes to life in a way that feels personal, inclusive, and impactful.

You'll work closely with our Global HRBP, People Team, and managers across the business—building relationships, offering guidance, and making sure our talent programmes not only run smoothly but genuinely make a difference.

What you'll be doing

  • Being the go-to person for talent queries, helping colleagues and managers navigate moments that matter.
  • Delivering an engaging onboarding experience that helps new joiners feel confident and connected from day one.
  • Creating and facilitating soft-skills and learning sessions that support people's development.
  • Developing and co-ordinating performance management, leadership programmes, and development plans.
  • Managing compliance and learning activity, making sure people have what they need to succeed.
  • Supporting DEI, wellbeing, engagement surveys, and succession planning.
  • Turning talent data into insights that help us make better decisions.
  • Building trusting, collaborative relationships across the business.

What you'll bring

  • Experience in HR or talent advisory roles, ideally across multiple countries
  • Proven accountability of the talent agenda, building onboarding, development and performance programmes, engagement survey, etc.
  • A warm and confident communication style—someone people naturally turn to.
  • Strong organisation skills and comfort with structure, detail, and process.
  • The ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and fairness.
  • Confidence using HR systems, data tools, and learning platforms.
  • A willingness to lead small-group learning or training sessions.
