A highly regarded and successful independent Estate Agency and Property Management company in Southampton is seeking an experienced Block Manager.

The company manages a strong portfolio of residential blocks and developments and is looking for a professional who can manage the day-to-day operations efficiently while delivering exceptional service. The role offers a rewarding and stable career with the potential for long-term growth.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

  • Managing a portfolio of residential blocks and developments
  • Coordinating maintenance and repairs
  • Handling insurance matters and claims
  • Organising and attending AGM meetings
  • Liaising with Management Committees and leaseholders
  • Ensuring compliance with leases and legal requirements
  • Conducting inspections and managing contractors
  • Maintaining high levels of communication and service 

What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):

  • Previous experience in Block Management is essential
  • Professional qualifications (ARLA, AIRPM, or RICS) preferred
  • Knowledge of Section 20 legislation
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Calm under pressure and proactive in problem-solving
  • Positive, team-oriented, and customer-focused
  • Willingness to keep up with industry training and legislation
  • Able to organise and attend evening AGMs
