is seeking an experienced and personable
Block Manager
to join our client who has an unrivalled reputation for retaining buildings, based out of their
Southampton
office. Working on a local portfolio, this is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional to manage a tight-knit portfolio within easy reach, avoiding long commutes. Our client is known for its structured team approach and supportive environment, making it an ideal next step for someone looking to grow in a professional, setting.

Main Duties

  • Manage a Southampton and surrounding based portfolio
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, residents, and contractors, ensuring exceptional service delivery and high client retention.
  • Work closely with the in-house accounts team and wider property management division to ensure smooth operations.
  • Lead and support assistant property managers, offering guidance and professional development.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to manage maintenance, compliance, and legal obligations.
  • Take full responsibility for service charge budgets, credit control, and oversight of year-end accounts.

About You

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in block management or a similar property management role.
  • Experienced working with a variety of property types and capable of managing demanding clients.
  • ATPI or similar qualifications are advantageous but not essential – the client can sponsor qualifications.
  • Must hold a valid driving licence and own a car – mileage is paid.
  • Confident, organised, and an excellent communicator.
