We are seeking a competent, motivated and experienced Personal Assistant/ Secretary to join our Head Office team in Ilford Monday - Friday = 40 hours weekly.

You will provide Secretarial and Administrative support to our 2 Directors and Manager.

We are an independent pharmacy company, employing 400 staff and have 33 operating locations, as well as a property portfolio.

Your duties will involve supporting the directors in all business areas through:

  • Typing letters - dictation (in person, audio, shorthand) and copy typing
  • Drafting communication on legal, property, contractual, operational, administrative, and accounting matters.
  • Supporting branch operational activities; addressing customer complaints, signposting services, resolving external contractor queries.
  • Supporting the management of our property portfolio; addressing tenant and agent queries.
  • Supporting our HR and Health and Safety Administration in policy updates abd administration.
  • Managing the filling and archiving process and supporting our reception team.

We are seeking an individual with;-

  • Previous experience as a Secretary or Administrator in a commercial business environment.
  • Ideally a Degree holder in Law or Business Administration.
  • Excellent technical skills and use of Microsoft Packages including WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint and Outlook. This is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent ability to multitask, prioritise, and deliver efficiency.
  • Good business acumen, grammar and attention to detail.
  • Experience in pharmacy or medical related industry would be an advantage
  • Experience in property management, and a legal background would be beneficial.

Pay: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
