We are looking for compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Home Care Workers to provide essential support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and with dignity in the comfort of their own homes in the IG3 (Seven Kings, Goodmayes) and IG6 (Barkingside) areas of Ilford.
This rewarding role requires completing a consistent schedule of 4 care visits per day, which may include Double-Up Visits (two carers supporting one client) for more complex care needs, within the local area.
The Role
As a Home Care Worker, you will be the heart of our service, delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Your duties will include:
- Personal Care: Assisting with washing, dressing, personal hygiene, and grooming.
- Double-Up Support: Working effectively with a colleague on complex moving and handling tasks or intensive personal care during designated double-up visits.
- Medication Support: Assisting or prompting with medication as prescribed (following full training).
- Meal Preparation: Preparing nutritious meals, snacks, and drinks.
- Light Domestic Tasks: Helping with essential household duties, such as light cleaning and laundry.
- Companionship: Providing valuable social support, conversation, and emotional encouragement.
- Mobility Assistance: Supporting clients with safe movement and transferring, using mobility aids where necessary.
Pay & Core Benefits

- Flexible Working: Consistent 4-visit daily schedule, which may include Double-Up visits, to help promote work-life balance.
- Generous Holiday: Annual leave entitlement.

- Training & Development: Full, paid induction training and ongoing professional development, including specialist training for Double-Up care and the opportunity to achieve a QCF/NVQ qualification in Health & Social Care.
- Supportive Team: Access to 24/7 on-call support and a friendly, dedicated management team.
What We're Looking For
- A compassionate, reliable, and patient nature.
- Excellent communication and ability to work well as part of a team (essential for Double-Up visits).
- The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively within the IG3/IG6 area.
- A commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care.
- Previous experience is a bonus, but not essential—we provide full training
