Operations Lead — Keep Football Journeys Alive

Location: UK (Remote)

Commitment: Around 10 hours weekly

About PLYAZ

Every year, thousands of academy players lose their pathway in football. Plyaz is changing that. We're building a player-first community platform, helping footballers share their journey, gain support, and keep their dream alive, on and off the pitch.

The Role: Operations Lead

Are you passionate about helping athletes stay visible and supported? Plyaz is looking for an operations leader who's excited to build workflows, connect communities, and help players thrive post-release.

You'll be the backbone behind our player-first mission, supporting the team, building new systems, and ensuring athletes get every chance to shine.

What You'll Do

  • Build simple, supportive processes
    : Help us organize and support released players, partners, and fans
  • Community coordination
    : Foster connection across players, staff, and clubs; support awareness efforts
  • Drive operational clarity
    : Track priorities and commitments, ensuring everyone stays focused
  • Support onboarding
    : Help new ambassadors and users find their place and get started
  • Feedback and improvement
    : Share insights so we keep making Plyaz more valuable for athletes

Who You Are

  • Experience in football (player, coach, ops, or community) strongly preferred
  • You care about keeping athletes in the game and helping them find purpose
  • Skilled at organizing, supporting, and connecting people (Notion, Slack, GSuite, Airtable, automations)
  • Positive communicator, comfortable in remote teams and working across cultures
  • Ready to give a few focused hours, consistently, each month
