POSITION PURPOSE

  • To provide excellent guest service to all guests at the hotel

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

  • Reports directly to the Night Supervisor
  • Effectively communicates with all Porters, Reception Staff, all HOD's, Duty Managers

MAIN DUTIES

  • Assist Front of House and Operations staff as appropriate and requested
  • Set up conference rooms as directed by the Night Supervisor
  • To manage the set-up of all Conferences, Weddings & Events, ensuring excellent service & guest satisfaction. All areas of each function room/public areas are to be kept clean and serviced correctly, including cupboards
  • To ensure all equipment is put back to the correct storage areas in the correct manner to avoid damage
  • To carry out any other duties requested by Night Supervisor

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITY

  • To be fully conversant with all methods of presentation.
  • To be fully conversant with all Hotel Fire and emergency procedures
  • To be familiar with the hotel procedures and policies
  • To ensure day to day set-up/break-down and cleaning of all C & B areas are completed in a timely manner

PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • To be a self-starter requiring the minimum of day-to-day guidance in task completion.
  • To demonstrate total commitment to the job role; working hours must be flexible at all times (including most of the weekends), revolving around the requirements of the business
  • Personal presentation to be of a high standard, as extensive client contact is required representing the Hotel.
  • have an experience in hospitality F&B or Front Office will be beneficial.
