Job Description

• Prepare for service
• Ensuring the kitchen cleanliness is always to a high standard including opening and closing cleaning check lists
• Prepare fresh ingredients
• Working with the chef's to prepare fresh ingredients including washing and preparing fruits, vegetables and other menu ingredients
• Maintaining Food Handling regulations
• Ensuring all produce is clearly labelled and discarded as required, effective stock rotation and other tasks as required
• Cleaning of cutlery, crockery & kitchen items
• Using a 2 step system to ensure all cooking & restaurant items are cleaned and satisfised and that all chemicals are dispensed and used in the correct manner.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Able to work under own initiative
• Organisational skills to manage your own time

This is a casual hours position involving shifts across the operational hours of the business (06:00 – 00:00 including weekends & bank holidays).

This role has no guaranteed hours of work, hours of work can therefore vary from week to week and, as a result, there may be weeks when no hours of work are offered.

If successful we anticipate two further interview stages with the Hiring Manager/wider team which will be more technically focussed and could include a presentation/task so we can see your skills in action.
