About the Team:

The
Students' Unions Partners Team
at native occupies a unique place. We manage the relationships with Students' Unions which underpin our exclusive contracts for campus media inventory across the UK, and can address the 2.86m students in the UK market.

The
Students' Unions Partners Team
team is dedicated to building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with our valued partners. We manage every aspect of the partnership journey, from relationship building across the UK's university institutions, through negotiating, contracting, onboarding to ongoing collaboration throughout the partnership lifecycle. At the core of what we do is a commitment to fostering trust, delivering exceptional value, and ensuring mutual success. Ours is an evolving proposition, and maintaining highly effective communication and dialogue is critical. Relationships are the foundation of our work, and we take pride in cultivating meaningful connections that drive impactful outcomes for both our partners and our business.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Partnership Success Manager (PSM)
to join our team and lead the growth and success of our strategic partnerships with Students' Unions (SUs).

The SPSM's primary responsibility is to
deepen and sustain existing partnerships
, driving
stronger engagement, adoption, and alignment
with Native's broader strategic objectives. This role plays a critical part in
strategically aligning partnership goals with commercial and contractual outcomes
, while also ensuring that partners fully leverage Native's product suite to enhance
student engagement and experience
.

Native is a platform purpose-built for students. Our tools empower SUs with rich insight and actionable data to create better, more engaging experiences throughout university life. The SPSM is a key advocate for this vision - ensuring that our partners not only understand our offering but are enabled to
unlock its full value

What You'll Be Doing:

We're looking for a self-starter who is confident working independently, can take initiative, and is comfortable with ownership and accountability. You'll lead with sound judgment, drive outcomes, and confidently engage partners at all levels.

You'll be responsible for
prospecting new opportunities, managing and growing existing accounts
, and aligning each partnership to deliver strategic value - both for Native and for our partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Relationship Management

  • Build, deepen, and sustain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in SU accounts
  • Host quarterly in-person partnership review meetings with each SU to deep dive into feedback, assess performance, and collaboratively explore growth and engagement advancement opportunities
  • Ensure continuous alignment on partnership goals, expectations, and long-term success metrics

Partnership Development & Engagement

  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand and enrich existing partnerships
  • Drive partner engagement across the full Native product suite, focusing on adoption, usage, and demonstrable value

Commercial Ownership

  • Manage financial performance across accounts including multi-year contract planning, renewals, and renegotiations
  • Align commercial goals with partnership value, ensuring mutual benefit and increased student outcomes

Success Planning

  • Develop tailored account success plans for each SU, with clear goals, milestones, and KPIs to measure progress and impact

Product Enablement & Advocacy

  • Become a subject matter expert on Native's value proposition and product ecosystem
  • Educate partners on tools and insights that empower them to improve student engagement and drive better experiences

Market & Industry Insight

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, sector dynamics, and competitor activity to inform strategy and strengthen partnerships

Conflict Management & Risk Mitigation

  • Anticipate and address partnership challenges promptly and diplomatically to preserve trust and momentum

Performance Monitoring & Insight Sharing

  • Continuously evaluate partner performance using key metrics and share actionable insights internally and externally

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, delivery, product, and marketing) to deliver a seamless and impactful partner experience

What you'll need:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in partnership management or account management
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining long-term, strategic relationships
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of managing contracts and delivering growth
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a confident and consultative communication style
  • Comfortable leading conversations with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Ability to act decisively and with autonomy, while adhering to our strong policies, standards, and framework.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders effectively
  • Passionate about improving student experiences and engagement through data and digital tools
  • Preferably have a full clean driving licence
