Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bid Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the bid process from inception to submission, ensuring that all proposals are compelling, competitive, and aligned with our strategic objectives. This position requires a strong understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in CRM software, including Salesforce.
We also require the candidate to have a solid understanding of E-Sourcing contract portals, Mainly ProContract, Delta E-Sourcing and LOCARLA
Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining contracts via our E-Sourcing Portals
- Must have experience using Excel / Formula
Duties
- Lead the preparation and submission of bids and proposals in response to client requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and resources for bid development.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive bid library, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and accessible.
- Analyse client requirements and tailor proposals to meet their specific needs while highlighting our unique value proposition.
- Conduct thorough reviews of bids prior to submission to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with client specifications.
- Manage timelines effectively to ensure all bids are submitted on schedule.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders throughout the bidding process, providing updates as necessary.
- Utilise Salesforce and other CRM software to track bid progress and manage client interactions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bid Manager or in a similar role within a competitive environment.
- Strong understanding of the bidding process and project management methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in CRM software, particularly Salesforce; experience with other relevant tools is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; able to identify key trends and insights from data.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated and proactive in managing tasks.
- A degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred but not essential. If you are passionate about driving success through effective bid management and have the skills we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
