Product Returns Administrator

Our Product Returns Administrators are responsible for the items that are returned to CareCo. The duty of the Product Returns Administrator is to process each product as effectively as possible using the information provided on our internal CRM software and to liaise with the relevant departments to ensure a smooth process is being adhered to during a product's return to the business.
This is a full-time permanent position, covering 40 hours over a Monday to Friday week, based out of CareCo's Braintree site.
What are my responsibilities?
- Palletise and count all returning stock and transfer to the correct location for inspection/ processing.
- Unpack returned products, inspect packaging condition, and verify paperwork/ returns labels for proper returns procedures.
- Effectively list and record returns from our couriers and our own Logistics team. Ensure check lists are completed and relevant photos taken as a record where necessary.
- Ensure all returning items are stripped of customer information including receipts and courier labels in line with GDPR.
- Distribute returned items to the correct location using handheld terminals considering all factors including the value of the item, the condition and type of return.
- Input clear notes onto the customer account on our internal computer systems ensuring all information is correct and relevant customer notes have been reviewed.
- Process refunds or replacement orders where required, ensuring all details are accurate and correct fees have been applied.
- Identify product/ distribution issues and report them to the team leader/ manager.
- Must be able to consistently lift heavy products.
What skills are required of me?
- Strong organisational skills will need to be evidenced along with a good understanding of the Microsoft Office package.
- The position demands someone who is physically fit as the role requires some lifting. Manual handling training will be provided.
- Experience working within a similar role is ideal, but not essential.
What would working for CareCo offer me?
