Key Responsibilities


• Lead client engagements and initiatives to deliver high-quality digital workflow solutions.


• Understand client business challenges through requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, and

process assessments.


• Translate business needs into Appian-based digital platform solutions and communicate concepts

effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.


• Design and implement Appian low-code applications, workflows, and organisation models to meet

client digital transformation goals.


• Drive best practices in Appian architecture, design, development, QA, and deployment.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, supporting sprint planning, delivery,

and continuous deployment.


• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and leadership for junior developers and project teams.


• Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability of Appian applications.


• Manage integration design and development using APIs, connectors, and enterprise databases.


• Stay updated with Appian enhancements, plugins, and product capabilities to recommend best-fit

solutions.

Skills & Experience Required


• 8–10+ years of experience in Appian enterprise workflow development, integration, and architecture

within large Financial Services or Corporate environments.


• Proven experience leading end-to-end Appian solution design, development, and deployments.


• Appian Level 2 certified (Level 3 preferred).


• Strong hands-on Appian development skills, including process modeling, SAIL interfaces, records,

rules, decisions, and data management.


• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.


• Experience working in Agile delivery environments—sprint planning, development, QA, CI/CD.


• Good understanding of Financial Services business functions (Banking, Insurance, Wealth, Risk,

Compliance, Regulatory domains).


• Strong knowledge of Appian architecture, best practices, enterprise data concepts, and performance

optimisation.


• Solid working knowledge of at least one major database (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).


• Experience with API integration design, Appian connectors, and enterprise integration patterns.


• Familiarity with Appian plugins, including rules engines and advanced utilities.
