A leading consultancy based all over the UK are looking to take on a number of experienced Appian Developers at various levels to join their growing team.

Our client has ambitious growth plans for their Appian Capability and in order to deliver on these plans is looking to recruit for multiple team members from Appian Developers through to Appian Delivery Leaders and Appian Architects.

You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of different teams, on a variety of different projects to deliver Appian-based technical solutions. Your knowledge around the product will be progressively challenged whilst developing technical breadthand depth across numerous interface layers.

The role will encompass
- Delivering solutions which meet the client's quality framework, whilst leveraging Appian best practises
- Working in a DevOps model to support in flight solutions, whilst innovating on new opportunities
- Overseeing the training and development of colleagues who are new to low code/Appian concepts
- Help identify new go to market opportunities for the client with the Appian platform
- Run Hackathon workshops, where you will build a working solution with their clients in a single session
- Delivering showcases to clients and internal stakeholders, to help establish wider awareness of Automation capabilities
- Proposing technical and creative business solutions.
- Delivering high quality technical Proof of Concepts for prospective customers
- To have an up-to-date view of the Appian roadmap of features, and be able to articulate them

As a senior developer you will be responsible for driving the training and certification of the team forward. Establishing the company as a trusted partner for Appian solutions.

**Essential Experience**

**Technical Skills**
- Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in designing Appian Solutions, UX/UI, Process Model design
- Programming skills in Java, R, Python, or other languages
- Have developed RPA solutions using either Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UI Path, Appian/Jidoka or Power Automate
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases

**Non-technical Skills**
- Already have or be eligible for Security Clearance
- Desire to strive for continuous improvement
- Ability to translate business requirements into user stories
- Have worked in a scrum team
- Experience in a delivery role, working to timeline and budget requirements
- Able to thrive in a unique culture where thinking outside of the box is required daily and creative input is necessary to solve business problems
- Technical depth to understand the landscape of the complete solution
- Proven success conveying customer requirements to Product Management teams
- Familiarity with Business Process Management Languages and Platforms/Frameworks
- Ability to identify the benefits between different hosting platforms, from on premise server installs through Hybrid, to Cloud hosted agnostic
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, customer interaction, requirements analysis, presentations, and system design

**Desirable Skills**
- Experience with cognitive services integrations (Azure, Google, IBM)
- Data Visualisation - Qlik, Dataiku, Tableau. PowerBI
- OCR (Kofax, Kodak, Xerox, Computer Vision, Microsoft Cognitive Services)
