This includes integration of newly acquired businesses, delivery of value-creation initiatives, system and process transformation, and performance improvement projects.
This role will play a critical part in supporting the Group CEO and Executive Team to deliver the buy-and-build strategy, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to defined outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic PMO Leadership
- Design, implement and lead a Group-wide PMO framework covering programme governance, reporting standards, risk management, and change control.
- Prioritise and sequence key initiatives within the Group Transformation Roadmap (integration, ERP/finance system roll-out, operational improvement, data and reporting, sales transformation, etc.).
- Support the Group CEO and CFO in building visibility of progress against value-creation targets.
Programme Delivery & Governance
- Oversee a portfolio of strategic programmes and ensure alignment with business objectives and investor expectations.

Team & Capability Development
- Build and mentor a small central PMO team with matrixed relationships into divisional leaders and project managers.
- Promote a culture of delivery excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the Group.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience leading a PMO or Transformation Office in a multi-site, operationally complex business (FM, Construction, Engineering, or similar).
- Strong track record in programme and portfolio management, ideally within a PE-backed or high-growth environment.
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent).
- Experience in integration and change management following M&A transactions.
- Excellent financial and analytical acumen with an ability to link programme delivery to EBITDA and value creation.

- Collaborative and pragmatic — able to balance structure with flexibility.
- Confident, credible, and able to engage at Board level.
- Passionate about building scalable systems, processes, and teams that drive sustainable growth.
