Senior Pre-Contract Associate

London, Greater London, United Kingdom CityFibre Full time £30,000 - £50,000 per year
Job Description

This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You'll join your colleagues in your local office at least once a month.

As the UK's largest fibre-only network, and its only proven wholesale challenger, we're busy setting new standards for what digital infrastructure can and should be.

Designed from scratch for the internet, our network is greener, more reliable and ready for the future. The products we provide over it not only lead the market on speed, value and service, they help businesses to innovate, provide entire communities with a better foundation for their digital lives and support economic growth, locally and nationally.

What does that mean for you? The opportunity to make internet connections (and daily life) a whole lot better, for a lot of people

Joining us as a Senior Pre-Contract Associate

You'll lead complex contract drafting and support strategic sourcing initiatives across major infrastructure projects. You'll oversee quality assurance, mentor team members, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and compliant contract delivery. This flexible role offers the opportunity to drive continuous improvement and play a key part in shaping our network build strategy.

You'll receive a salary of up to £50,000, a performance related bonus, and a range of benefits to support you across your financial, physical and mental wellbeing.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Act as a key connector between day-to-day contracting and strategic tendering, helping to shape how contracts are managed and improved
  • Provide senior-level coordination across tools and processes, including benchmarking, indexation trackers, and standardising documentation
  • Step in to support contract drafting and rate management when needed
  • Work closely with the Senior Pre-Contracts Manager to drive process improvements and support team workload balance
  • Collaborate with a remote team across the UK and Ireland, with monthly travel for team connection and face-to-face collaboration

What you'll bring to the role

This role suits someone who's naturally organised, detail-driven, confident handling sensitive information, open to feedback, and passionate about making things better. You'll also have:

  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and HLOOKUPs) to manage data with ease
  • Experience in contracts - a solid understanding of legal and commercial documents, even if not formally qualified
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks while keeping everything accurate and on track
  • Experience working under pressure and responding positively to feedback and change
  • Ability to connect with different teams and stakeholders, and bring people together to get things done

This includes 25 days annual leave, a day off on your birthday, a day off to support a charity or organisation of choice, a range of wellbeing and savings initiatives including private medical insurance, and supportive family friendly and menopause policies.
