About the Role

Pogust Goodhead is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our group litigation team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to lead on major, high-profile cases and play a key role in delivering justice for large groups of clients affected by corporate misconduct.

As a Senior Associate, you will take ownership of complex cases, shape litigation strategies, and guide junior team members. You'll work closely with partners and colleagues to ensure the highest standards of legal work while helping drive the continued growth of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large, complex group litigation matters.
  • Develop and implement effective case strategies.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to clients.
  • Work collaboratively with partners, counsel, experts, and external stakeholders.
  • Draft and review pleadings, witness statements, and key legal documents.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior lawyers and trainees.

About You

Essential:

  • Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with 6+ years' PQE.
  • Strong technical expertise in English litigation, ideally including group, product liability, or clinical negligence claims.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and case management processes.
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cases independently.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable under pressure.
  • Committed to achieving the best outcomes for clients.

  • Experience in social justice, human rights, or pro bono work.
