About Us
We are a growing PBSA (Purpose-Built Student Accommodation) operator providing high-quality, community-driven living spaces for students across the UK. Our mission is to deliver exceptional student experiences through well-designed accommodation, responsive service, and engaging lifestyle initiatives.
As we continue to expand our portfolio, we're looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Assistant to support the execution of marketing campaigns, digital engagement, and on-the-ground activities across our student residences.
Role Overview
The Marketing Assistant will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day marketing operations — from social media content and digital campaigns to local activations and events. This role is ideal for a highly organised, detail-oriented individual with a passion for marketing, branding, and the student housing sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Support
- Assist in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and experiential channels.
- Coordinate promotional activities to drive enquiries and bookings during key sales periods.
- Liaise with creative agencies, photographers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
2. Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Manage and schedule content across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) to engage the student audience.
- Monitor social media trends and performance, providing insights and recommendations.
- Update and maintain website content (news, offers, events, property information).
- Support SEO and paid digital campaigns by tracking performance metrics.
3. CRM & Data
- Assist with email marketing campaigns, including copywriting, design, and segmentation through CRM tools.
- Maintain marketing databases, ensuring lead data is accurate and up to date.
- Track and report campaign performance (traffic, conversion rates, enquiries).
4. Events & On-site Marketing
- Support the planning and delivery of open days, student fairs, and community events.
- Coordinate on-site marketing materials such as signage, banners, and posters.
- Build relationships with local universities, student unions, and partners to enhance brand visibility.
5. Brand & Content
- Assist with creating engaging photo, video, and written content that reflects the brand identity.
- Support the production of marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, digital assets).
- Ensure brand guidelines are maintained across all materials and communications.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Creative mindset with a good eye for design and attention to detail.
- Competent using digital marketing tools (Meta Business Suite, Canva, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Enthusiasm for student culture, property, and marketing trends.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 1–2 years' experience in a marketing role (experience within PBSA, property, or hospitality is an advantage).
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and CRM systems.
