**About the role**

**Key responsibilities**:
This position will involve supporting international events, including working with external suppliers, speakers, and partners. Typical responsibilities include:

- Supporting marketing campaigns to meet registration and attendee targets.
- Building partnerships with associations and publications, maintaining strong relationships throughout the event cycle.
- Identifying and liaising with keynote speakers for events.
- Updating and maintaining websites with event features, speaker information, articles, and partner details.
- Designing marketing assets using tools like Canva.
- Managing visitor and sales data in Excel and preparing reports.
- Proposing and implementing innovative ideas to reach new audiences.

**Required experience and skills**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with partners and speakers over the phone.
- Strong attention to detail and creative thinking.
- Willingness to work extra hours when required to ensure successful event delivery.
- Any previous marketing or communications experience is advantageous **but not essential.**

**The apprenticeship**

This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:

- Campaign management;
- Content creation;
- Social Media marketing;
- Digital and traditional communications;
- Brand management;
- Communication skills;
- Project Management;
- And much, much more.

All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.
