We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing and Sales team. This is a permanent role, usually based out of our Bristol office, with some homeworking too.

**The role**

The main purpose of this role is to provide high quality marketing assistant level support to the firm's practice groups, events team and digital marketing & data manager and executives.

**Key responsibilities**

Firm's practice group marketing team:

- Assist in the implementation of internal/external marketing initiatives and the promotion of the firm's service line expertise
- Update communications plans/schedules and assist in executing those plans, including briefing specialist marketing teams, external agencies and partners, generating focused mailing lists using the firm's CRM system, preparing internal and external mailings using Vuture and tracking activity
- Assist with the implementation of service line event programmes
- Upload marketing content to Osborne Clarke's internal and external website
- Assist with the approval of invoices and tracking of expenditure against budget
- Support with the preparation of internally and externally produced marketing collateral

Administrative support to the legal directories submission process:

- Upload entries to Chambers UK and Legal 500
- Repurpose and transfer relevant content from Chambers UK forms in preparation for Legal 500 entries
- Schedule legal directory interviews with relevant partners
- Chase content and working to strict deadlines
- Collate and maintain sight of directory submission referees

Event team support:

- Assist with events administration (when required), including the invitation process, preparing name badges and delegate packs, meeting and greeting delegates for events

Digital marketing team support:

- Assist with the upload of digital content to OC websites

General support:

- General point of contact, for the wider sales and marketing team, including those based in our international offices
- Provide training to new members of the team on team policies and processes
- Assist the practice group marketing and transformation teams, the events team and the digital marketing team with other ad-hoc tasks as required

**You'll be**

We are looking for someone with previous administrative experience, who is able to use their own initiative, can demonstrate first class organisational skills and has excellent attention to detail.

Key skills
- Able to give clear instructions and understand and act upon appropriate instructions from senior management
- Be self-motivated and proactive
- Strong IT skills within Word, Powerpoint and Excel
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to build good relationships at all levels
- Good written and verbal communications skills, including a succinct and effective writing style
