What is the main purpose of the role?
You will be responsible for providing support to the sales function, through the creation of persuasive tender responses which are compliant with the tender specification, and show flair and commerciality. In addition, you will be responsible for raising the profile of Lancer Scott through targeted marketing.
What will be my core responsibilities?
- Complete the written elements of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and tender return documents and pricing templates.
- Manage the delivery of the written elements of the tender return to ensure that it is written, reviewed and edited prior to the tender submission deadline.
- Carefully edit and proofread each section to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to the tender requirements.
- Ensure that our responses are put forward in a format that is professional, innovative and a layout that is easy to read.
- Research the market sector, client needs and the requirements of the tender and align these to the capabilities and strengths of the company to produce a compelling proposal.
- Strategise and shape bespoke solutions using data and insights, drawing on our knowledge of the sector and the individual client requirements.
- Produce a compelling narrative that demonstrates capability, understanding and fully addresses the client's needs., highlighting our solutions and how those benefit the client
- Work with the marketing team to produce company literature and digital content which can be used for targeted marketing and to promote our services.
- Plan, organise and support attendance at events to show case Lancer Scott FM.
- Support the operational teams with the production of bespoke reports, presentations and other documents as required.
- Keep up to date with industry developments and innovations, maintaining awareness of competitor activity and market trends.
- Communicate with and report back to the MD and other Senior Managers on a regular basis
What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?
- Excellent written English, able to produce high quality, clear and compelling content
- A degree level qualification in Marketing or related subject would be advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, to include Powerpoint and Publisher
- Proven experience in producing high quality digital content
- Capability in research and analytical thinking
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Able to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks
- A collaborative approach, able to communicate effectively with a wide group of stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast paced sales driven environment
- Self motivated and driven to succeed.
