Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their service experience is smooth and satisfactory. You will utilise your customer service skills and mechanical knowledge to provide accurate information about services and repairs, while also handling cash transactions and upselling additional services when appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assess their service needs.
  • Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs to customers.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring all payments are processed efficiently.
  • Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer's vehicle.
  • Maintain a clean and organised service area, ensuring all customer interactions are professional.
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

Experience

  • Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong invoice payment handling skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with both customers and technicians.
  • Experience in upselling products or services is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanour.

Pay: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
