The Opportunity

As a
Senior Business Change Analyst
, you'll play a pivotal role in analysing complex business needs, defining robust requirements, and supporting regulatory and operational change initiatives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions that enhance performance, compliance, and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation using structured methodologies
  • Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and process models
  • Conduct gap analyses and identify opportunities for process optimisation
  • Work closely with IT, compliance, and operations to ensure regulatory alignment (FCA/PRA)
  • Support implementation of new systems and digital transformation initiatives
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and user story development
  • Assist with UAT, training, and post-implementation reviews
  • Track progress and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders

About You

  • Proven experience as a
    Business Analyst
    within the
    UK financial services sector
    (insurance, banking, or asset management)
  • Strong understanding of
    UK financial regulations
    (FCA, PRA)
  • Skilled in
    BPMN
    ,
    UML
    ,
    JIRA
    , and
    Confluence
  • Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Experience working across
    Agile
    and
    Waterfall
    environments

Desirable Certifications

  • BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis
    (Foundation / Practitioner)
  • BCS Advanced International Diploma in Business Analysis
  • Expert BA Award
    or equivalent senior-level qualification
