As a Researcher in our Digital Skin Lab, you will play a key role in supporting research and development initiatives for our devices. You will assist in the digital simulation of product concepts. Analyzing data and collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance product development and user outcomes. This role is ideal for an early-career researcher passionate about science, technology, and innovation in the beauty and skincare industry.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Research and Experimentation:
  • Work on research projects focusing on the application of energy to enhance skin wellness, treatment personalisation, and integration of digital technologies potentially with the application of topicals.
  • Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses, optimise device efficacy, and enhance user outcomes.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data to support research findings and product improvements.
  • Keep abreast of latest science and developments in the field.
  • Independently manages research projects to ensure timely delivery of objectives
  • Technology Integration:
  • Be responsible for the development of prototypes for proof of principle studies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into physical products, ensuring seamless user experience.

  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of research processes, results, and methodologies.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
  • Work closely with senior researchers, clinicians and clinical researchers, and cross-departmental teams to integrate solutions into prototypes and products.
  • Provide technical support during clinical studies and validation processes.
  • Analyse user data and feedback to refine device features and improve outcomes for diverse skin wellness applications.
  • Compliance and Standards:
  • Ensure all research activities align with ethical guidelines and regulatory standards.

List All Required Experience/ Skills:
Essential
1-3 years of experience in Research & Development preferably in skincare, medical devices, or a related industry (Suitable MSc project considered as R&D experience)

An understanding of experimental design, data analysis, and statistical methods.

Engineering, Bio-engineering, Chemical or similar background

Desirable

Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical engineering

OR

Knowledge of routine Lab analysis and biological compounds

Experience in using Arduino, LabView or similar

List All Required Education/ Qualifications/ Training:
Essential
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or a related field.
