The Opportunity

We're recruiting for a 
Head of Technical Operations & Automation
 — a newly created, high-impact role designed to lead the shift from manual, person-led processes to a blended model of AI-powered automation and human expertise.

Working closely with the Head of Delivery and CIO, you'll architect and implement automation strategies using platforms such as Salesforce, LLM agents, and RPA tools. You'll modernise and lead nationwide technical operations, including logistics, installation support, device monitoring, QA, and information governance — ensuring every process is efficient, data-driven, and scalable.

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver automation strategies that transform operational workflows.
• Blend AI agents, system integrations, and human operations to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.
• Lead and modernise technical operations — including logistics, monitoring, QA, and compliance functions.
• Define KPIs, performance frameworks, and reporting structures across all technical domains.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to connect automation with business intelligence and service outcomes.
• Report to the executive team on automation ROI, operational efficiency, and business resilience.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience driving large-scale operational transformation within telecoms, digital infrastructure, or service delivery
• Hands-on experience implementing automation or AI-enabled workflows using platforms such as Salesforce, RPA, or AI agents.
• Strong process design and systems-thinking capability with technical and commercial balance.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• A passion for turning complexity into clarity — building scalable, intelligent systems that deliver measurable impact.
