Our client, an established contractor, are recruiting for a Passive Fire/Fire Door Operations Manger to head up their Passive Fire divison on sites across the UK.

The successful applicant will have a sound technical knowledge of fire compartmentation (both firestopping and fire doors) and a high level of understanding of current legislation within the industry. A high level of man management, as well as understanding both commercial and operational aspects of the department.

You will be used to working in an environment that is mainly office based but with the requirement to attend site for pre-start and progress meetings. You will have be able to communicate with customers of the business at all levels and have experience of both commercial and operational activities including the tender/estimating process. You will also be able to demonstrate your experience of producing reports.

The role will suit someone with a proven track record of managing compartmentation at a site based level who is looking to progress their career up the management ladder.

In terms of qualifications, SMSTS/SSSTS is essential as well as CSCS and either FIRAS/BM Trada Accreditation, NVQ lv2/3 Passive Fire Protection. You will also have a full, clean UK driving licence.
