The Junior Project Execution Lead serves as a liaison between various MC disciplines, including Event, Commercial, Social, and Data & Insights and Microsoft stakeholders. Your role is key in receiving comprehensive briefings for marketing projects, advising stakeholders on program services, processes, SLAs, KPIs, and tools, and coordinating MC delivery across multiple disciplines.
What You'll Be Doing
Planning & Set-up
- Assist marketers in developing integrated and feasible marketing demand generation plans that connect local execution with automated demand generation.
- Understand and apply global and local governance for planning, setup, and measurement of marketing demand generation activities.
- Advise stakeholders on MC Program execution processes, including SLAs, KPIs, tools, and services.
- Understand targeting criteria relative to local marketing priorities and work with predefined target lists.
- Document and incorporate past learnings into ongoing commercial marketing planning and execution.
Execution & Project Management
- Act as the single point of contact for Microsoft marketing project execution and operational commercial marketing activities involving multiple MC disciplines.
- Create marketing projects and service requests in the intake tool on behalf of Microsoft marketers.
- Develop project plans and coordinate marketing execution among all involved parties, including Microsoft stakeholders, internal teams, and third parties.
- Deploy tracking tools to monitor execution progress and ensure accurate spend attribution.
- Keep stakeholders informed of progress and resolve issues.
- Support the organisation of cadence meetings, share documentation, and follow up on action points related to MC Program activities.
Measurement & Reporting
- Ensure measurement plans align with reporting requirements from marketers.
- Support business objectives by providing standard marketing measurement and reporting plans.
- Ensure timely uploading of business leads when necessary.
- Utilise reporting from Marketing Services teams to provide tailored information to stakeholders.
- Regularly review performance dashboards to understand campaign performance and lead stage conversions, focusing on marketing outcomes and business results.
- Identify patterns, best practices, and efficiencies across multiple marketing activities.
- Support marketing governance and review the performance of locally created emails using dashboards.
Subject Matter Expertise
- Focus on deployment of standard marketing projects while also supporting local non-standard campaigns.
- Act as an ambassador for global commercial marketing tools and services.
- Educate local stakeholders on modern marketing services and tool capabilities.
- Attend Modern Marketing Meet-Ups to maintain up-to-date knowledge.
- Provide MC Program discipline expertise during campaign planning and execution when required.
What You'll Need
- Ideally, 2+ years of experience in executing marketing-related B2B events.
- At least 2+ years of experience in client-facing project or account management roles.
- Strong compliance with company policies such as personal data protection and brand guidelines.
- Proven project management skills with readiness to assume responsibility for KPIs, track progress, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex information in a structured manner.
- Comfortable interacting with senior clients and third-party stakeholders.
- Capability to manage multiple events and activities simultaneously, prioritising urgent and important tasks.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate with culturally diverse internal and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
