Position Summary

We are seeking a Junior Support Project Manager to assist in managing project activities across multiple UK retailers. This role will focus on supporting project countdown activities, coordinating installations, reporting, and ensuring smooth execution of deliverables. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior project managers to provide operational support and maintain project documentation.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and administrative tasks.

  • Support installation activities and ensure timely reporting of progress and issues.

  • Manage project countdown activities and ensure adherence to timelines.

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including P&L reports and status updates.

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment.

  • Monitor project risks and escalate issues as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or project support roles.

  • Related experience in project management role to include fast-paced, high volume, high impact, complex and strategically important projects required.

  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle and methodologies.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a virtual environment and manage multiple priorities.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel (mandatory).

  • Familiarity with project management tools and reporting systems is a plus.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including email proficiency (i.e., Exchange).

  • Strong skills and competency in MS Project, MS Excel, and MS Access.

  • Teamwork skills, appropriate to all levels of the organization.
