A top-tier global investment bank is conducting a search for a seasoned
Project Finance professional
to join its
Infrastructure & Energy Finance team
in London. This strategic hire will play a leadership role in originating and executing complex transactions across the EMEA region.

Role Overview:

  • Lead origination and execution of structured finance transactions across sectors including
    renewables, digital infrastructure, transport, utilities, and energy transition
    .
  • Manage client relationships with
    corporates, sponsors, sovereigns, and development finance institutions
    .
  • Oversee deal teams and mentor junior bankers, ensuring high-quality delivery across pitches, credit papers, and execution.
  • Drive strategic initiatives, including
    ESG-linked financings, green bonds, and blended finance structures
    .
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with coverage, syndicate, legal, and risk teams to deliver bespoke financing solutions.

Candidate Profile:

  • 10+ years of experience in project finance or structured lending, ideally within a leading investment bank or advisory platform.
  • Proven track record of
    origination and execution
    across multiple geographies and sectors.
  • Strong technical skills in
    financial modelling, credit analysis, and documentation negotiation
    .
  • Deep understanding of
    risk allocation, bankability, and regulatory frameworks
    .
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client management capabilities.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages (e.g. French, Arabic, Spanish) a plus.
