Earworm is a fast-growing, ambitious creative agency working with global brands and high-growth businesses. We're scaling quickly with big plans for the next five years, and we're now looking for a Part-Time Finance Manager to help strengthen our financial operations and support the next stage of our growth.

This role is ideal for someone who wants a challenge, enjoys improving processes, and wants to be part of an exciting Bristol business with serious ambitions.

The Role

We're looking for a proactive Finance Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day finance operations, provide the founder with live financial information, and help build strong internal systems as the business grows. You'll work closely with the CEO and play a key part in shaping how our finance function operates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain tidy, accurate, up-to-date financial records
  • Manage client invoicing and revenue tracking
  • Lead credit control and support strong cash flow
  • Process supplier invoices, raise POs, and manage supplier onboarding
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning with the CEO
  • Identify and implement improvements across financial processes
  • Create and document finance procedures as we scale

What We're Looking For

  • Experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or similar role within an SME
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to provide clear, reliable, real-time financial information
  • Proactive and confident working independently
  • Comfortable improving workflows and building structure
  • Must be Bristol-based
  • Hybrid working - with regular in-office time in Stokes Croft
  • Flexibility to increase hours during busy periods

Hours & Pay

  • 20 hours per week (flexible across the week)
  • £26 per hour, paid monthly
  • Additional hours may be required at certain times

Important Note

We are not seeking an accountancy practice or outsourced provider. This role is for an individual who wants to join the Earworm team and contribute to our long-term growth.
