Job Summary

Active-PCB Solutions Limited is a contact manufacturing business aiming for 20% annual growth in the next 3-5 years. We are seeking an energetic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our market presence. In this pivotal role, you will identify new business opportunities, develop strategic plans, and foster strong relationships with clients. You will help shape our company's future by leveraging your expertise in sales, negotiation, and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry analysis.
  • Delivery of personal sales quota as part of the team.
  • Collaborate with marketing to follow up leads generated
  • Maintain customer contact and progress records so that they are visible to the rest of the team in the company CRM system
  • Ensure deals optimise profit and are aligned to corporate goals
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service and experience
  • Lead negotiations to secure new contracts, partnerships, and collaborations that benefit the organisation.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.

Skills

  • Experience within the PCB industry or associated electronic componentry, with industry knowledge and contacts, will be valuable.
  • Appreciation of technical engineering
  • B2B sales experience, with the ability to sell value into business
  • A consultative solution-based sales approach
  • Experience using structured sales methodologies, such as Miller Heiman, Challenger or equivalent
  • Experience collaborating with marketing and other departments to drive successful outcomes together
  • The ability to build relationships with customers and internally
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies to support lead generation efforts and brand positioning.
  • Exceptional communication skills to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively across diverse audiences.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £40,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
