Who we are:

A Better Service & Andersons Waste are part of the Clean Stream Group and specialise in the removal of liquid waste. The Clean Stream Group service both domestic and commercial customers across the South of England & Wales. The business has a modern fleet of HGV vehicles ranging from smaller rigid tankers to support our domestic customers, high end industrial cleaning tankers through to articulated vacuum tankers for bulk liquid waste. We offer a responsive, reliable and friendly service to our customers.

What we are looking for:

As part of our continual growth plan, we are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager for A Better Service who has experience within the waste industry. The BDM will be responsible for building and maintaining existing customer relationships, bringing new work into the business, and expanding into wider regions. Your primary focus will be on developing new business opportunities with a level of account management while providing profitable waste management solutions customised to customer needs.

Main Duties and responsibilities:

· Generating new business.

· Expanding geographically into new areas within the South East of England.

· Conducting research into target businesses and growth regions and cold calling.

· Ensure we are maximising our services to all current customers.

· Manage key accounts.

· Provide an accurate account of the pipeline of future opportunities and work secured.

· Be prepared to spend a significant amount of time out and about meeting customers.

· Collaborate with the Group Commercial Director and other internal staff members.

About you:

· Experience managing key accounts and successfully bringing in new business

· Candidate will ideally have experience within the Waste Management Industry or similar.

· Ambitious and self-motivated to take on new challenges and promote the business.

· Resilient and capable of maintaining momentum.

· Adaptable to customer needs and requirements.

The role will be based at our Reading offices with travel required throughout the South to support customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £40,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
