Resourcing Business Partner Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Resourcing Business Partner to join our collaborative HR team. This position will play a vital role in shaping and delivering our talent acquisition strategy, ensuring we attract and engage the best talent to enable Sureserve's ongoing success. The Resourcing Business Partner will partner with stakeholders across the business to provide a seamless, inclusive, and positive recruitment experience for all candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment
  • Design and deliver effective recruitment campaigns to attract diverse talent for a range of roles across the business.
  • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers, understanding resourcing needs and providing expert advice on best practice recruitment solutions.
  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process, from role briefing and advertising to screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Proactively source and headhunt talent using LinkedIn and other professional networks, building strong pipelines for current and future vacancies.
  • Leverage LinkedIn and social platforms for employer branding by sharing engaging content, showcasing Sureserve's culture, and promoting our commitment to diversity and innovation.
  • Liaise with external agencies, job boards, and talent networks to ensure maximum reach and quality of candidate pipelines.
  • Champion a consistent and positive candidate experience in line with Sureserve's values and commitment to inclusivity.
  • Monitor and report on recruitment metrics to ensure continuous process improvement and inform workforce planning.
Collaboration, People Partnering, and Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with the HR Team and business units to align recruitment activity with organisational priorities.
  • Build trusted, proactive relationships with hiring managers, offering guidance and support at every stage of the hiring process.
  • Lead assessment and selection processes, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
  • Provide training and coaching to line managers on inclusive recruitment practices and interview techniques.
Promoting Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion in Recruitment
  • Ensure job adverts, role profiles, and selection materials are free from bias and encourage applications from underrepresented groups.
  • Act as an ambassador for Sureserve's commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace throughout all recruitment touchpoints.
  • Implement recruitment initiatives to address gender balance, disability inclusion, and other aspects of under-representation.
Key Skills and Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or resourcing, preferably in a multi-site or high-volume environment.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law relating to recruitment and selection.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
  • Organised and results-oriented, with the ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • A passion for driving diversity, equality, and inclusion in hiring.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to work independently or within a team.
