London, Greater London, United Kingdom Iglu Full time £40,000 - £80,000 per year

The role of the creative designer is to bring this passion and excitement to life through visual content. Your role is to capture the imagination, inspire our audience to find the love of ski, and present Iglu Ski as leaders in ski holidays. When people see us, they need to instantly recognise us as THE ski company that they will ever want to use. Whether it's an ad on google, a social post, or video on the website, they should think 'these guys know ski' (and the excitement that comes with it). Creative content is pivotal to bringing what we do to life, attracting people to us and communicating our message. Indeed, when people see our content they should really believe that they are entering 'The World of Ski'.

Skiing is energetic, fun, full of enthusiasm and determination. The ideal candidate will embody this, and use their wonderful creative skills to make people choose us over our competitors, making content that you will always be proud of.

  • Create social media assets (including YouTube, Meta etc), both static and video, so that people can't wait to see our next post - you know that creative concepting and design are critical in building our social following.
  • Create visual content for the website that improves engagement rates and journey through to conversion.
  • Approach all communications with a can-do attitude and an inherent need to make sure that every output takes our brand, and how people look at us, in a positive direction.
  • As a central member of the marketing team, you will know that your input and output are key to a successful trajectory of reigniting love of our brand.
  • You will not need to be 'briefed'... you will have the ability to automatically consider how you can help affect the business, seeing where the holes and gaps are, and how you can change the perception of our brand with our audience.
  • Source great photography from our partners and from stock footage to improve our asset library.

Skills And Experience

  • Deep experience creating social media and advertising assets, with a knowledge of design nuances that improve the effectiveness and user response.
  • Ability to approach marketing challenges with new, impactful concepts that will elevate the effectiveness of the communications.
  • Experience making content with little external budget, using the tools and assets at hand to constantly create.
  • Proven track record of demonstrating deep proficiency in design expertise, with a portfolio that brings your abilities to life.
  • An ability to work at pace, making content at speed without being encumbered by over-analysis and deliberations. You have the natural ability to understand what will resonate with the audience and are willing to try new things.
  • Experience briefing and using AI tools to make impactful video and imagery assets.
  • A real aversion to bland and 'meh'.

Behavioural Role Fit

  • You will have energy and enthusiasm in abundance, with a constant joy of creating and delivering.

  • You enjoy what you do and naturally bring people on your journey.
  • You are a team player who is happy to 'dive in' and get things done.
  • You are confident in your ability, but happily listen to feedback and take on board others' opinions.
  • A self starter / proactive, not someone who waits for someone to tell you what to do.
  • Happy to work in an autonomous environment but is keen to join in to work together, thriving in a collaborative setting.
  • You have a voice and opinion which you'd love to discuss.
  • You have a tendency to getting things done, with a determination to get great creative in front of our audience.
  • Results driven, ability to multitask and prioritise in fast paced environment.
  • Culture fit: Down to earth yet energetic, determined to see the success of the company, pragmatic, passionate, creative, smart, collaborative, transparent, motivated, high integrity and flexible.
  • Although the role is hybrid, you love your time in the office as it gives you the chance to meet and collaborate, understanding the value of bouncing ideas off each other and the energy you bring.
  • Passionate traveller: ideally with skiing or snowboarding experience that will help you to immediately understand the audience and how to connect with them.
