Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Services Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth patient interactions, managing appointments, and supporting administrative functions within the practice. Duties
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming bookings via phone or electronic systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Handle incoming calls, respond to enquiries, and direct messages appropriately.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth clinic operations.
- Support the collection of patient information and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Ensure the waiting area remains tidy and comfortable for patients.
- Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards at all times in line with healthcare regulations.
Skills
- Proven office experience with strong organisational skills.
- Previous administrative experience within a healthcare or similar setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and professional manner.
- Proficiency in using office software such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Empathetic approach towards patients and colleagues alike.

24 hours per week:
- Mon - 8am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm
- Tues - DAY OFF
- Weds - 8am to 1pm
- Thurs - 2pm to 8pm
- Fri - 2pm to 6pm
When working until 8pm, the hourly rate from 6.30pm to 8pm will be paid at time and a half. The rate of pay will be reviewed on an annual basis. Please note you will also need to provide acceptable evidence of your vaccination status or exemption.
