The role
The CRM Team looks after everything from email, mobile notifications, and targeted VOD campaigns (content trailers). This CRM Analyst role is designed to ensure we are testing and learning long-term as well as from each individual campaign. They will create and maintain reporting of CRM, VOD & digital activity across our campaigns and always-on channel health activity, working collaboratively with the Insights and Data teams to improve our audiences and measurement. They will be responsible for collating data, but most importantly delving into the details to translate it into tangible insight which can improve our future output and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand ITV's viewers through data and insight
- Work with internal and external teams, agencies and suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of all CRM and VOD campaigns.
- Analyse previous campaign performance and draw meaningful insights which can feed, inform and shape subsequent campaigns, across audiences, creatives and content
- Track performance of our automated journeys, gaining an understanding of the total user journey and identify areas for optimisation
- Use 1st party data as well as 3rd party data to understand and recommend best practice across CRM, AV and wider media
- Update all reporting dashboards, including VOD campaign results and CRM Health Metrics, visualising and centralising all data sources
- Handle raw data to create required reports
- Monitor the effectiveness of CRM and VOD activity and guide the team towards optimisations which increases impact on KPIs
- Drive a test and learn culture in the CRM team to identify, evaluate and accelerate opportunities for targeted owned media
- Set up, test and analyse results to bring insight to campaign strategy
- Monthly and quarterly performance reporting across the team
- Support monthly and annual forecasting for CRM & VOD activity across key KPIs
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
- Experience in a data-led digital marketing, performance-driven environment
- Previous experience in an customer analysis or marketing insight role
- Highly data-literate with proven experience interpreting data to aid decision making and make recommendations
- Proven competence and familiarity with spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) for data handling and analysis
- Experience visualising data in an engaging way

- Familiarity and knowledge of marketing systems and analytics tools (e.g. Tableau, Amplitude, Looker, GA4, Braze (desirable))
