This hybrid role blends hands-on IT support in our dynamic warehouse with systems administration across our core platforms - including our Warehouse Management System and ERP. You'll be the go-to person for troubleshooting, user set-up, and supporting exciting development projects that drive continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing
IT Support (Hardware)
- Set up and maintain handheld scanners, label printers, and transport hardware.Troubleshoot hardware/software issues to minimise downtime.Liaise with external providers for escalated support.
Systems Support
- Manage user set-up and permissions.Provide first-line support for system issues.Lead weekly update calls with our WMS support partner.Be the first point of contact for WMS queries across the business. Support SAP Business One processes and integrations.
Projects & Development
- Assist with testing, updates, and rollouts of WMS and ERP enhancements.Contribute to project calls and delivery planning.Learn and support WMS configuration.Champion continuous improvement by suggesting smarter ways of working.
A Day in the Life
You'll start your day onsite in Dartford, where your mornings may be spent troubleshooting a handheld scanner on the warehouse floor, then back at your desk to set up new WMS users or joining the weekly call with our support partner. After lunch, you could be testing a new WMS feature, liaising with staff on an open ticket, or digging into SQL to help resolve an issue. No two days are the same, and there's plenty of opportunity to learn the deeper setup of our WMS and ERP systems.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on IT troubleshooting experience (hardware and software).
- Great communication skills - able to support both warehouse teams and technical stakeholders.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Comfort working under pressure with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with handheld devices, printers, and external IT providers (desirable)
- SQL knowledge for queries and troubleshooting (desirable)
