We are looking for someone who wants to kick start their career with Rhenus. Our Customer Solutions Apprentice will the first port of call to customers, and you will be responsible for responding to their requirements. We'll support your development with a recognised apprenticeship.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate flexibility, be able to build good relationships, and be ready to solve our customers problems.
Main Duties will include:
Responding promptly to customer enquiries through various channels
Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day account activities of customers.
Resolving delays in a timely manner and keeping our customers up to date.
Generating rates when required, ensuring rates are accurate and all additional charges are included.
Identifying and referring any new opportunities from exiting clients to appropriate internal contact
Processing orders and arranging for goods to be brought our depots
Knowing the products and services inside and out so that you can answer questions and up-sell where possible
Advising clients on the customs processes, understanding broker requirements, being able to onboard clients that do not have their own broker.
Understand the customs requirements for invoices, packing lists, recognising commodity codes that require additional certification requirements.
Communicating and coordinating with colleagues in various departments as necessary.
Completing KPI reports for our clients
Providing all required POD's in a timely manner
Ensuring customer portals are up to date, data is accurate and freight rates are complete
What You Bring:
The ability to maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. Ensuring customer satisfaction and providing professional customer support.
Possess good organisation skill and great attention to detail
A good grasp of numbers and excellent organisational skills are essential.
Strong interpersonal skills and confident phone manner would be beneficial.
The ability to eventually manage a daily workload independently whilst operating effectively within a team.
Good verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the company in a professional manner to all concerned.
