Job description - Staff Nurse – Edinburgh
Do you want to join a small, friendly but growing healthcare business providing exceptional care to our patients?
We are excited to provide an exceptional opportunity for a talented and ambitious RGN to join our small, dynamic team. Vision Scotland is a high-volume day-case theatre cases every week. Cataracts, Refractive Lens Exchange, Laser eye surgery, Cross Linking, Blephs and other eyelid surgeries. We work hard but we also value a healthy work / home balance. There are no overnight shifts and no last-minute call outs required.
This diverse and rewarding appointment includes pre/ post-surgery nursing and some help with theatre stock ordering. You will work closely with a team of surgeons, optometrists, and admin staff. We pride ourselves on having a team completely focused on patient care. Every member of our team is positive, proactive, professional, and astute. The role requires clinical excellence, a desire for challenging complex clinical work, a mindset for continuous learning and development, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a calm disposition. Work will be carried out within a state-of-the-art private clinic.

Ophthalmic experience is obviously a significant advantage. Your experience may be in pre / post ophthalmic surgery nursing or as a theatre scrub nurse. We are happy to train the candidate with the right mindset and all the skills needed to excel.
30 hours per week
Salary - £35,000 per annum FTE (£28,000 pro rata for 30 hours)
