WELCOME TO LINAKER

At Linaker, we don't just keep buildings running — we keep business moving. With over 30 years of expertise in maintaining operationally sound and compliant workplaces, we support leading organisations across the UK with trusted, technical maintenance services.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Scheduling lead to oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of scheduled maintenance across a diverse national portfolio. From complex facilities to high-volume service contracts, you'll play a critical role in performance, compliance, and efficiency — managing engineers, subcontractors, and systems to ensure maintenance lands where and when it matters.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role supports a broad range of commercial clients, spanning large-scale facilities and high-volume service contracts across multiple sectors.

You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of all PPM activities, ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations and service level agreements. Operating through CAFM and client systems, you will manage engineer and subcontractor deployment, monitor KPI performance, and drive service efficiency across all sites. This is a key role in maintaining operational excellence, compliance, and cost-effective maintenance delivery.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

As PPM Scheduling lead, you'll take ownership of:

  • Planning and overseeing all scheduled maintenance activities across client sites

  • Using CAFM and client systems to manage asset registers, PPM schedules, and tasks

  • Coordinating engineers and subcontractors to ensure timely service delivery

  • Ensuring statutory compliance across disciplines (fire, water, lifts, electrical)

  • Monitoring SLAs, generating performance reports, and driving continual improvement

  • Leading internal audits and supporting quarterly client reviews

  • Maintaining documentation (RAMS, permits, schedules) and system accuracy

  • Mentoring a small team in CAFM usage and maintenance coordination

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 3+ years' experience managing PPM through CAFM systems

  • Strong team management skills, with a background in PPM Scheduling

  • Knowledge of JobLogic is a plus (but not essential)

  • Solid understanding of statutory compliance requirements, RAMS and PPM

  • Strong coordination and stakeholder communication skills

  • Technically confident with electrical and mechanical environments

  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret KPIs and performance trends

  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable in fast-paced operations

  • Experience in multi-trade national scheduling.

  • People-focused leader with a collaborative approach

THE PACKAGE

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

  • Core Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm

  • Competitive starting salary

  • Holiday buy & sell scheme

  • Paid Volunteering Day

  • Cycle to Work salary sacrifice scheme

  • Private health care and life insurance (after qualifying period)

  • Genuine career progression within a growing technical maintenance provider
