Job Summary
The Security Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily security operations to protect people, property, and assets. This role manages security personnel, develops procedures, ensures compliance with policies, and responds to incidents to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-day security operations across assigned sites or facilities
- Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate security staff and supervisors
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and post orders
- Monitor security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
- Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and security audits
- Respond to and manage security incidents, emergencies, and investigations
- Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, and internal stakeholders
- Prepare incident reports, operational reports, and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards
- Manage security budgets, staffing levels, and vendor relationships as needed
Qualifications
- Experience in security operations or security management
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong knowledge of security systems, risk management, and emergency response
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
