We are currently working with a highly successful technology business to search for a FP&A Director to join their team in London. This position will be pivotal to support the organisation's strategic growth agenda.

The FP&A Director will be responsible for ensuring that the function is a strategic partner to the business and will own the storytelling to support high-level decision-making. The role will lead all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and Board reporting and provide clarity on the company's performance.

This is both a hands-on and leadership role, ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with executional excellence. The successful candidate will design best in class FP&A processes and develop the infrastructure required to support the company's continued international growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape and elevate the FP&A function by developing a high-performing team and embedding a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Own the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning cycles, delivering robust and realistic projections.
  • Design and optimise FP&A processes, leveraging technology and automation to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models to connect operational metrics with financial outcomes.
  • Deliver insightful management and Board reporting, translating data into strategic stories that drive action.
  • Partner closely with the executive and management team to shape strategic direction and decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Extensive FP&A leadership experience in a high growth and fast paced environment.
  • Proven ability to build, lead and develop high-performing finance teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of what "good" looks like in a world-class FP&A function.
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset paired with a hands-on, delivery-focused approach.
