It's the quintessential market town hotel – a handsome hostelry with history at every turn, restored and restyled for the discerning twenty-first century traveller.
Today, period charm meets contemporary chic, 80 spacious rooms that envelope guests in comfort, and the very best local produce is served – in our acclaimed restaurant, lounge, Events Ballroom and buzzing Massey's bar.
We are looking for an enthusiastic CDP Chef that has a true passion for great food with a clear focus on presentation and quality service;
Your CDP responsibilities include:
- Assist in the creation, cooking and presentation of the menu items- running your section when fully trained and confident
- Supporting more senior Chefs in brigade- Sous/ Head Chef- Working as team to deliver great food to guests in a timely manner
- To carry out the smooth and efficient running of your section- great food, every time
- Following Food Safety, and Health & Hygiene regulations at all times, including clear up and cleanliness of section
About you, our CDP:
- Passionate about food and mouth watering taste combinations
. Determined to deliver the best results, regardless of pressure
- A team player, who values input from others
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Willing to share ideas around improving the customer's experience- whether that's creating a new sauce or praciticng your knoife skills
