London Area, United Kingdom Aviva Full time £75,000 - £90,000 per year

Strategic Resource Partner – Tech & Data

Location: London or Bristol

Salary - Circa £75,000

Do you have a passion for tech and data recruitment and want to shape the future of Aviva's digital capabilities?

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in strategic recruitment or talent acquisition—particularly in technology, digital, or data domains—who's ready to step into our strategic, high-impact role. If you thrive on building resourcing strategies to meet Aviva's goals, influencing senior stakeholders, driving DEI hiring practices, and using insights to drive hiring strategies, this could be your next move.

A bit about the job:

We're on a journey to build a market-leading recruitment function, and this role is central to that ambition. As Strategic Resource Partner aligned to Tech & Data, you'll work closely with senior leaders, our RPO partners, and the wider People Function to design and deliver resourcing strategies that support Aviva's digital transformation.

You'll be responsible for ensuring we attract and retain top talent across engineering, architecture, data science, analytics, and digital product teams—helping us build the capabilities that power our future.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in strategic recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally within technology, digital, or data functions.
  • Demonstrated expertise managing and influencing C-suite stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, with experience embedding these principles into hiring practices.
  • Confidence in using market intelligence, data, and insights to inform decisions and shape strategic hiring plans.
  • A creative, agile mindset—someone who can adapt quickly, think strategically, and thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.

What you'll get for this role:

Our purpose —
with you today, for a better tomorrow
— is a promise we make to our colleagues too. One of the ways we live up to that promise is by investing in you. We have so much to offer when it comes to being an Aviva colleague:

  • Salary Circa £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
  • Bonus opportunity — 12% of annual salary (actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's)
  • Generous pension scheme — Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in
  • 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days
  • Aviva-funded Private Medical Benefit to help you get expert support when you need it
  • Up to 40% discount on Aviva products, and other retailer discounts
  • Up to £1,200 of free Aviva shares per year through our Matching Share Plan and Save As You Earn scheme
  • Brilliantly supportive policies including parental and carer's leave
  • Flexible benefits to suit you, including sustainability options such as cycle to work
  • Make a difference — be part of our Aviva Communities and use your 3 paid volunteering days to help others
  • We take your wellbeing seriously with lots of support and tools
