Are you a seasoned VAT professional with a track record of success in practice? We are currently seeking an exceptional individual to join an established and highly regarded accountancy firm as an experienced VAT Director or VAT Partner in London.

The Opportunity

This is a confidential role within one of the UK's leading accountancy practices, offering a unique opportunity to shape and lead the VAT/Indirect Tax offering for London and beyond. The firm, known for its client-centric approach, is deeply committed to delivering excellence across sectors, including private client, real estate, international, and corporate business.

As VAT Partner, you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership to the VAT team, driving growth and excellence in client delivery.
  • Build and nurture key client relationships, offering sophisticated tax advisory and compliance solutions.
  • Collaborate with partners across the firm to identify new opportunities and enhance cross-service offerings.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT legislation and practice, ensuring compliance and mitigating client risks.
  • Play an active role in shaping the future direction of the practice.

About You:

  • Proven expertise in VAT/Indirect Tax with a strong technical foundation.
  • A natural leader who thrives on collaboration and fostering talent within their team.
  • Commercial acumen, with a passion for building and growing client relationships.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and strategic vision for expanding VAT services.
  • A recognized professional qualification (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
